The Unsolicited Electronic Messages
Ordinance (UEMO) will be adopted this Friday to regulate
the sending of mass electronic messages through email,
fax, SMS as well as pre-recorded voice messages. Direct
Marketing of Asia Limited (DMA) fully supports the implementation
of the new ordinance, positively leading to the development
of legitimate direct marketing. DMA is very active and
dedicated in developing quality mailing list database;
especially the Permission based customer lists, and
has launched one of the 1st Marketing Preference Centre
in Hong Kong and Asia. DMA strongly believes in the
concept of "Smart Consumer"- by establishing
a free marketing platform, consumers have the choice
to select their preferences on receiving marketing information,
promotion offers & discounts and change their favorites
anytime according to their preferences. Ms. Mabel Yeung,
Head of CRM, believe that they would attract more customers
under the new ordinance. As the leader in direct marketing
sector, DMA has already built up well-established Permission
Based Direct Marketing Systems and many Award-winning
Multi-Channels for marketers to build positive corporate
image and recruit a giant pool of target customers.
