The Unsolicited Electronic Messages
Ordinance (UEMO) will be implemented to regulate the
sending of mass electronic messages.
Mr. Mike Chan, the founder of Direct Marketing of Asia
Limited, believed that many small-scaled companies would
be closed down under the new regulation as their information
are collected illegally, including using address harvesting
software.
DMA’s data are all obtained legally and does not violate
The Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance and The Unsolicited
Electronic Messages Ordinance. We compile data from
thousands of public and proprietary sources including
business reports, exhibitions and seminars, business
and trade directories. To add to which, DMA has some
complementary sites to invite consumers to register
their preferences on marketing information.
And it is believed that in the long run, more and more
clients could reap benefit from DMA’s award winning,
